I was asked to help the South Kitsap School Supporters in their efforts to see a Bond passed that would enable the district to build a second high school in the community. I learned about their past efforts, some of the things they had planned, and I decided that one of the things they needed to do was create a movement among the millennial voters.
I created a grassroots strategy and visual identity that involved bright colors, bold statements, and leveraged social media and public forums to gain support. This brought a lot of people together, and they got closer than they ever have to passing it with a defeat of only 38 votes.
